Internship at Makanalani

As an intern at Makanalani Farms, a 130-acre farm on the North Shore of Kauai, I had the opportunity to serve in a mission-driven environment that provided free camp experiences for kids to encounter God’s love. Working alongside a community of young adults, I honed my servant leadership skills while contributing to various projects, from farm work and local business partnerships to outreach with the church.

My photography became a way to document the beauty and transformation I witnessed daily—capturing moments of connection, faith, and the stunning Hawaiian landscape. The internship allowed me to grow spiritually and personally, while deepening my understanding of leadership, teamwork, and service. It was a powerful, hands-on experience that shaped both my faith and my creative work, and I’m grateful for the chance to contribute to a mission that impacts so many lives.
